DONA International Birth Doula workshop

A little about the trainer....

,

I am a blessed mother of 4 children, 3 of which are already grown up and on their own.  Luckily, that leaves one 18-year old who is still living at home or I would be dealing with the "empty nest syndrome"!  I have been married for 32 years to a farm boy, antique dealer, Mark.  We have lived in a 3rd generation family owned farm house in a little town in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania, where Amish buggies are everywhere.  What takes me to Australia you might be thinking.  Well my oldest daughter married a wonderful Australian 5 years ago and she and her hubby are living in Queensland.  I decided to become a DONA International birth doula trainer so I could also bring this International organization to Australia and other countries and do trainings in the USA.  I love conducting workshops and look forward to having these workshops! I have been a doula for 13 years, a certified postpartum doula as of just a few months now,  a certifier for DONA 12 years, a Childbirth educator at our local hospital for 6 years, an approved DONA birth doula trainer for 4 years, a massage therapist for 6 years. I just became certified as a an Infant massage Instructor! Also just became a Moby Wrap distributor!  go to www.mobywrap.com to check out the wraps!  I feel blessed to have been taught by Penny Simkin, (One of the founders of DONA), Kathy McGrath, my mentor,  and Polly Perez.   http://www.dona.org/     http://www.juliedoulaworkshop.com/ or email juliedoulaworkshop@verizon.net
